nigel juris:Depends on interest rates in relation to inflation being captured in the CPI. Some experts believe that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates before this happens;hence, TIPS holders will suffer from the effect of rising interest rates long before feeling the benefit of CPI-related inflation adjustments. On the other hand, there are "experts" who feel interests will remain low for some time.
